While at least another two weeks, probably three or four, remain before Sam Sifton starts filing from the high throne of New York Times restaurant critic, the dining section will return to form tomorrow with a starred review of Gus and Gabriel's Gastropub, penned by none other than Pete Wells, one of food's best writers and the editor of the dining section. G&G is, of course, Michael Psilakis' two and a half month-old attempt at moderately priced comfort food in the former Kefi space. For background on the restaurant, see coverage here.
