Shut Out Of Il Mulino, Blago Opts For Lucy Browne's

Need another indication that downtown has turned into K Street? While Obama and Clinton were off stealing the show and using up New York's supply of snipers and policemen, former disgraced Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich was quietly lunching on Hudson and Clarkson with no entourage (as mentioned here). Confirmation now arrives that he was dining at the sidewalk cafe of Lucy Browne's (formerly Steak Frites). It's no Il Mulino, but it is a Monday lunch after all. Further proof that, where there's a spectacle, Blago isn't too far.
