Primo Ply: The Breslin Set to Debut October 8

New, 1 comment

Fresh from processing in the Eater Darkroom, have a look-see through these new images of The Breslin, now tracking for an October 8th debut, with previews starting October 1. This English pub by way of the Wholesale District is comprised of three main spaces: a front bar, main dining room and upstairs "Public Dining Room," as Ken Friedman described it to us last week. The last is on the second floor and has its own bar and seating area. It's public because it's just out there in the open, see, but will be available for private bookings. As for the menu, Breslin will traffic in the hearty fare that's come to typify Bloomfield's restaurants. If current working draft menus are any indication, there will be offerings like raclette with shallots, cornichons & capers, mussels & cockles in beer, and crispy fried rabbit with aioli and lemon. Bloomfield will be stationed at the restaurant full-time at least through the end of the year, overseeing Breslin chef Peter Cho.
