The Shutter: Hea, Cafe DeVille, Sushi Twist

Welcome to the Friday shutter. Know of any other restaurant that has served its last? Let us know.

2009_09_hea.jpg1) East Village: Multiple tipsters have noted over the week that Cafe Deville on 3rd and 13th has not reopened after its summer vacation. This comes after they reduced hours to just four days a week all summer long. Given they're on the Community Board agenda for a transfer, EV Grieve smartly believes they're closed for good. 2) East Village: Meanwhile, across the street the hulking sad Japanese restaurant Hea, which turned one year old this month, has closed. It closed for renos earlier this year and starting putting out some solid deals, but it wasn't enough. [EVG]

3) Flatiron: Mad Park News brings word that Sushi Twist, a neighborhood favorite, is closing on Monday. They will be opening a new restaurant uptown at 40 West 56th Street. [MPN
