Fall Tracking: Stuffed, A new Fall Preview Favorite

New, 3 comments

Momofuku Midtown, Pulino's Pizzeria, Ed's Chowder House, The Breslin, Fatty 'Cue—the upcoming fall restaurant season has innumerable wonderful, no mind-blowing, things in store. But let's turn the attention for a moment to something smaller—Stuffed. The LES already has a creperie, a bruschetteria, a poutine spot, and, soon to come, a meatball shop. So why not make he neighborhood just a tad more hilarious with an artisan cannoli shop, mentioned in some of the fall previews? Born from the bowels of the San Gennaro festival two years ago, the street cart turned brick and mortar shop will sell pumpkin pie, key lime pie, creamsicle, french toast, root beer float, egg nog (and oh so many more!) flavored cannolis for $2 a pop. Sacrilege? Perhaps. But really, at least it's not a cupcake spot. She opens on 176 Stanton St. in October.
