1) Lower East Side: The Lo-Down brings the unsurprising news that Tides on Norfolk has decided to close after its July vacation. Click through for the full teary shutter signage. [TLD]

2) Upper East Side: A tipster reports that Saucy on York Ave. and 75th has closed: "Soap in the windows. Good riddance. This restaurant gimmick was undone from the start by a stupid concept, mediocre food and malicious service. " [ShutterWire]

3) Midtown: Midtown Lunch reports that West 35th Street sushi spot Norimaki will close by the end of the month. According to ML, it is one of the few places in the area serving decent cheap sushi. [ML]

4) Greenwich Village: A tipster sends work that Aja Bistro on 10th Street and 6th Avenue has served its last. Signage in the window says "Amber Coming Soon." [ShutterWire]
