Plywood Special: Travertine Facade Finally Unveiled

Nolita: For over two years the giant restaurant space at 19 Kenmare has been shielded from public view by a wall of plywood. As it switched hands from the owners of Little Charlie's Clam Bar to Ivan Kane to Chris Eddy and eventually the current owner Danae Cappelletto, the shell remained practically untouched save for the updated concert posters plastered to its wooden facade, a blight on the block. Well not any more! Check it out: the wall of wood it gone, revealing instead walls of marble and glass. And a quick peek inside reveals the furniture is arriving.

For a more extensive look around, check out a plywood tour from two weeks ago. Otherwise, stay tuned for more as she gets closer to the final debut.
