Vital Reminders: SWEET Submissions Due Tomorrow

Calling all aspiring and up and coming pastry chefs and dessert obsessives! Eater and the good folks behind the New York Wine and Food Festival, coming back to NYC this Columbus Day weekend, are offering a chance for one lucky reader to participate in this year's SWEET, a late night party where pastry mavens from restaurants including Daniel, Locanda Verde, Adour, and Jean Georges show off what they're capable of. If you want a chance to exhibit your goods on a major culinary New York stage, this is your chance.* Tomorrow we will be sampling all submissions at Eater HQ (36 Cooper Sq., 5th Floor) between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. To answer a few reader questions, yes plating is allowed, and yes, we can sample on the spot for temperature sensitive goods. The runner up will win tickets to the event.

*The winner will be eligible for up to $300 in reimbursement costs, though it may be easy to get vendors to donate supplies given the event is for charity. Contestants must provide their own transportation.
