Bar Q to Turn into West Village Seafood Spot

West Village: On Friday, a Community Board 2 agenda revealed that Bobby Werhane, a principle owner in Johnny Utah's, L'Artusi, and Dell'Anima will be seeking a liquor license for the failed (and one-time burned) Bar Q space at 310 Bleecker St. Today Werhane confirms he is indeed after the space and plans to turn it into a seafood restaurant this fall. He and his reps won't go in to details on what kind of seafood spot he's planning—heaven knows the West Village doesn't need another Pearl or Mary's—but more will be revealed at the official meeting next week.
