2009_08_oysterbooze.jpgOn Friday, the iconic Grand Central Oyster Bar lost its liquor license after mistakenly letting it expire. A diner reports that they already had it back by the next night: "The restaurant followed up with calls stating there would be NO alcohol, not even BYOB. When we were seated we were surprised that there were bottles of wine on other tables. We were told the problem was resolved and we were able to order wine with our dinner. Sounds like a palm got greased to me..." Diner's Journal confirms. [Eater Comments]
