Note to Saveur: Get Your Own Blog Name

Back when Josh Ozersky defected from Grub Street to launch his Citysearch blog The Feedbag, the man caught a lot of flak from the folks at Time Out New York because they believed it was too easily confused with their own restaurant blog, The Feed. Their concern was understandable, but in the end, the names were different enough. Feed, Eat, Grub, Dine—they're all common food words that bloggers use freely. However, it will be hard not to side with TONY when Saveur launches their blog the Feed, announced today by James Oseland. One expects a margin of error when a mainstream mag jumps into the confusing fast paced universe of blogs, but that's pushing it.
