And the dessert finalists for the 2009 Vendy Awards arrrrrre (drum roll svp): The Big Gay Ice Cream Truck, The Wafels & Dinges Truck, and Cupcake Stop. The dessert portion plays second fiddle to the savory contest at the annual street meat event, but it will be interesting to see how Big Gay and Cupcake, relatively new to the biz, fare against the more established waffles.
