Eater Inside: David Burke Townhouse

So, David Burke Townhouse closed at the beginning of the month for renos, but instead of opening with a major new concept or a Subway sandwich franchise or banh mi joint in the bar room as expected, they just spruced the place up a bit. More specifically, Burke has extended the menu to include "signature dishes from throughout his career, including The Lobster 'Steak,'” added a meat carving station and a salt wall, changed the carpet, fabrics, and wall coverings, and extended the bar. Oh, and those are blown glass balloons in the last picture. Voila! Just like new. She reopens tonight.
