2009_08_tocatchacritic.jpgWhile Frank Bruni has spent the past five years trying to hide his identity and the Times stripped all their official photos of new critic Sam Sifton, the "anonymous" critics out in SF go about it differently. They moderate panels, sign books, and make special appearances, as evidenced by last weekend's hilariously named SF Chefs. Food Wine. But unlike Richman or the RG, they won't openly pose for pics, upholding a charade of a hidden identity. [ESF; previously]
