Status: Soft Opening to the public tonight.
Brooklyn Bowl, the long awaited upscale rival to Williamsburg's hipsterfied bowling alley the Gutter, opens its lanes and bar tonight at 6 p.m. The music venue/(soon to be) restaurant/alley/bar/event space has 16 lanes and a capacity for 600 and is green as can be. Snacks arrive on the 10th, but don't expect the full menu from the Blue Ribbon crew until next month. For now, the place is open Sunday, Tues - Thurs, 6 p.m. - 2 a.m., and Fri and Sat 6 p.m. - 4 a.m. Oh and for now: no kids! Send all early reports this way.
