Temp Shutters: Fedora Takes Hiatus for Surgery

New, 2 comments

West Village: Sure it's no temporary Di Fara closure, but the longtime residents around West 4th St. and of course our veteran nostalgia blogger Brooks of Sheffield will be interested to know that 57 year-old Fedora is taking a brief hiatus. The restaurant's longtime matron Fedora Dorato is having back surgery and hopes to reopen the restaurant in a couple of weeks. Like Di Fara, it's one of those places that just can't run without the veteran founder on the scene, a nice notion these days. For more info on the restaurant, one of the very first of Brooks' Who Goes There columns. All to best to Fedora.
