On Friday, Grub Street and Flo Fab reported the long-in-coming news that David and Karen Waltuck's Tribeca old timer Chanterelle will close for almost two months on August 16th for renovations. The 30 year-old restaurant (20 at its current location) will reopen in October with a bar and an expanded menu.
Meanwhile the Dash 'Bag has some more details on the Cafe Boulud reno. They'll close next month, open in September and offer a new bar and two new private dining rooms.
