FiDi: This week Sherry Delamarter, chef/owner of the two decade old West Village spot Cowgirl, has expanded her concept to a new sister restaurant and plywood vet Cowgirl Sea Horse, located on an unassuming stretch down by the Seaport. She's serving the same kind of Southern comfort food as her original spot with a number of beachy seafood staples like crabcakes, shrimp po'boys, and clam fritters. All entrees are $9-14, while cocktails like frozen margaritas and "Harvey Wallstreeters" are $8. The 'Horse is open for lunch and dinner now with breakfast coming soon. And FiDi bloggers: she's got free Wifi. For more coverage, see here, here, here, here, and here.
