Karaoke Den Replaces Kim's in Spite of Community Board 3

East Village: Even though they were unanimously rejected for liquor license approval by Community Board 3's SLA committee, work is going forward as planned at the three story karaoke joint, 2 U Karoke Lounge Suites, moving into the space of the dearly departed Kim's Video on 6 St. Mark's Place. Because if there's one thing St. Mark's Place (and the East Village as a whole) needs, it's another karaoke spot. Sure to be a game changer.
