About a year after Marion's Continental, the 35 year-old (18 years in its last iteration) neighborhood favorite, closed for good with a teary goodbye, a new tenant will occupy their narrow space on Bowery and East 4th. Called Aguila & Sol, the restaurant will appear before Community Board 2 tomorrow to plead their case for a liquor license, and if all goes according to plan, will be the first occupant of the space since it was used as a location for Marco Pierre White's failed reality TV show, Chopping Block.
