ROCK CENTER— An important update from Zagat: "tonight is the last night for dancing at the Rainbow Room – at least while it's in the hands of the Cipriani family. If dancing isn't your thing, though, you've still got a little while longer, as the Rainbow Grill wil continue to serve drinks and a light menu until Father's Day, June 21." [Zagat]

LOWER EAST SIDE— 7 year-old LES spot Alias is expanding its weekday hours to include lunch. They'll now be open from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m., serving lunch-sized portions of dinner favorites and new offerings like a veggie burger, gravy and biscuits, and soups and salads. Also bloggers, free wifi. FIDI— The Downtown Express reports that FiDi's B4, owned by City Council hopeful Arthur Gregory, is getting evicted: "Gregory said the trouble started when scaffolding went up around his entrance at 50 New St. last fall, hiding his bar from view.
