Welcome to the Tuesday Shutter Report. If you know of any other restaurants that have served their last, please let us know.
1) Lower East Side: A tipster writes in with the news that Le Pere Pinard at 175 Ludlow has closed, and a walk by the restaurant confirms that the restaurant is no more. They've spray painted the awning, gutted the space, and are in the middle of some serious construction work. Folks looking to have their fortunes read while having a plate of steak tartare will now have to look elsewhere. [ShutterWire]
2) Murray Hill: A tipster sends in a photo of the now shuttered Deepam, a vegetarian/kosher Indian restaurant on Lexington between 27th and 28th. [ShutterWire]
3) Park Slope: A tipster sent word over the weekend: "Sad, but Tamari on 5th & Union in Park Slope will be serving their last meals today. I don't know where I'll get a good bowl of soba or ramen in the neighborhood anymore." The Japanese spot was located on 5th and Union. [ShutterWire]
4) Midtown: Midtown Lunch reports that the 52nd Street location of 99 Miles to Philly has closed. Not to worry, NYUers, as the East Village outpost is still open for business. [ML]
