1) South Slope: New venture Lot 2 opened up for friends and family last week in the old Kitchen Bar space on 6th and 20th in the Park Slope/Windsor Terrace environs. The chef, Scott Bridi, is a Gramercy Tavern and 'ino alum and is serving up items like Neck three Ways, olive oil poached cod, a mysterious dish called "lipstick on a pig", and "low and slow" plate with brisket, pork jowl, and lamb rib. 2) Fort Greene: Over at TONY online, The Feed brings word that Aqualis Grill, the seafood restaurant from Gorian Papa, will be opening on Fulton between South Oxford and South Portland with chef John Tsakinis (Kellari Tavern). Expect seafood basics such as "whole grilled seabass or grilled calamari with saffron-lemon vinaigrette." Status: Opening Thursday, according to the restaurant. 773 Fulton St., 718-797-3494
3) Park Slope: The Feed also reports that ex-Monkey Bar chef Chris Cheung will be running the kitchen at Vue Restaurant and Lounge. The restaurant, which boasts a "sizable" outdoor patio and rooftop bar with views of Manhattan, will serve New American dishes. Status: Not open yet, but "hopefully this weekend."
