First Word: Koi Comes to the Bowery, Sea Salt's New Tenant

East Village: Community Board 3 just released their July agenda, revealing a few interesting additions on the horizon. Most curiously, that Una Pizza/Motorino transfer from last month is back on the docket. The notion that super successful Una Pizza would be transferring their space to another operator is, in the very lease, perplexing, so it will be interesting to see who shows up to this meeting come the 20th. Also of note: sushi chain Koi, which has an NYC location in Bryant Park, is becoming the latest high ender to come to the Bowery. They're seeking a space at 347, current home of the Salvation Army. Meanwhile, if all goes well, Lower 2nd Ave. could finally get a tenant for that long vacant Sea Salt space.
