MADISON SQ PARK— A couple of exciting additions to this year's roster of chefs at the annual Celebrate Flatiron Chefs! event on July 14th. Tony May will be on hand to serve up samples of the menu of his upcoming SD26 while reps from Ken Friedman's newest, The Breslin will have a preview of what they'll be serving up come August. MIDTOWNCrain's reports that Pret a Manger is on an expansion tear. It's opened four stores in the past few months and has more on the way. Meanwhile, the chain just closed their six month-old location on 3rd Ave. between East 44th and East 45th streets, citing a "tough" block. [Crain's]

NOHO— For those waiting for Restaurant Week to hit up DBGB Kitchen & Bar, Wined & Dined has a copy of their special prix fixe, which looks a lot like the regular $22 lunch menu but with a burger option. [W&D]
