Sneak Peeks: Renderings for 'Grand Park' Released

Lower East Side: Blog The Lo Down points us in the direction of restaurateur Jesse Hartman's new website for his newest, and onetime controversial, project at 365 Grand Street, now named Grand Park. After months of wrangling with members of the community and the residents of the Seward Park Co-op, Hartman finally won approval from Community Board 3 for his liquor license application for the old Isabella's Oven space. But that doesn't mean it's a sure thing. The co-op has another offer on the table—perhaps the previously mentioned Asian fusion joint—and is negotiating with both parties. Somehow, we're hoping Hartman wins out. And yes, those are fans, umbrellas, and a glass roof that you're seeing above.
