1) Prospect Heights: Zagat reports that 25-year old eatery Garden Cafe has shuttered. "The surprise closing was confirmed by the restaurant's neighbor, Amorina, who noted that prospective new tenants had already been seen visiting the space." [Zagat]

3) Midtown: Some shutter/opening news from Midtown Lunch: "I think I speak for everyone when I say Noooooooooooooooooo! The rumor is true, Olympic Pita (on 38th btw 5+6th) has become Baraca. I’m not going to panic just yet? from the look of the inside I’m guessing the lunchtime food will be exactly the same.
