The Shutter: Mr. Jones Doneski After Less than a Year

After much hype, hoopla, and nonsense, the less-than-a year-old East Village yakitori joint Mr. Jones has already called it quits, according to PR. Let's take a quick look back, shall we? First, there was the opening, or semi-opening we should say, then it seemed like Mr. Jones was part of some yakitori moment (which was apparently a brief one), then came the Daily News review, where the RG declared it "more sex than food." In any case, Mr. Jones has had a short, highly-publicized life. And now, he's a goner.
