2) East Village: Destination Bar, a joint venture between Chris Sileo, co-owner of the East Village's Bowery Wine Co., Mason Reese, co-owner of Paladar, and their partner Dan Maccarone, opens in the shuttered Old Boys Room space Thursday. See the drinks menu here. [PLYWOOD]
3) Soho: A new restaurant is prepping to open in the old HQ space. A tipster sends a pic, above, noting they were having a private party or friends and family event last night. [PLYWOOD]
4) East Village: EVGrieve reports on the never ending open again, closed again saga at the former Evolution space: "It looked like a fairly serious change as the interior has been gutted and the exterior walls have come down. As I queried the construction worker regarding the future tenant he said, 'evolution'." [PLYWOOD]
5) Park Slope: Lost City writes on the progress of Black Horse Pub: "The new Black Horse Pub, in the South Slope, at 14th and Fifth Avenue, has been under construction for some time.
