2) Midtown: Roving photog Will Femia notices a new restaurant/lounge going into the McGraw Hill Building on 48th between 6th and Times Square. It will be called Forty Eight and is scheduled to open Summer '09. [PLYWOOD]
3) Tribeca: Metromix has a preview of Ward III, the new bar opening in the old QDT space on 111 Reade St.: "Ward III's offering a handful of specialty cocktails to choose among...And though the drinks are fancy, the bar's vibe is more casual-comfortable and 'vintage Tribeca' than Intimidating Cocktail Palace...the concept at Ward III is "if you're here you can eat," with an around-the-clock (11 a.m. - 4 a.m.) eclectic new-American/international menu..."
