Brian Beiler will man the stoves: "Bieler hopes to start serving a 'Soho seasonal' menu by early next month. Sometime after that, the downstairs lounge, Lucky’s Eleven (no relation to Lucky 13, Lucky Eight, Lucky Jack’s, or Lucky Cheng’s) will open in the basement..." [GS]

TRIBECA— A fun tip in the inbox regarding new Thompson Hotel Smyth: "Smyth's developers have been showing the restaurant and lounge space to several major restaurant groups (including Stephen Starr) over the past few weeks. CALIFORNIA— Jamba Juice is rolling out an extensive food menu of flatbreads, sandwiches, and salads in some California stores in an attempt to reverse declining sales. They may roll them out nationwide next year. Oh and this: "last month the brand lent its name to a soon-to-be-developed line of frozen novelties, as well as a toy blender for kids to play Jamba Juice at home." [NRN]
