Street Food Report: Kogi to Serve Bagels, a Psilakis Cart?

At Monday night's street food-centric Citymeals on Wheels benefit, Always Hungry asked dozens chefs what they would serve if they launched a food cart. Highlights: Larry Forgione would serve grilled cheese; Zak Pelaccio, hot dogs or brisket sandwiches; Jonathan Waxman, lobster tacos; Alfred Portale, BBQ—duck, lamb ribs and pulled pork sandwiches. More interestingly, the site says that Greek wonder Michael Psilakis was treating the event as a “test run,” and they have a new tidbit on the forthcoming NYC Kogi Truck: they will serve owner Roy Choi's spin on New York bagels, hot dogs, and pretzels!
