Eater Inside: Jane Hotel Bar

West Village: Last night Sean MacPhearson—owner of the Bowery and Maritime Hotels and LA's new speakeasy-themed Roger Room—and longtime partner Eric Goode opened Jane Hotel and Ballroom after months of battling with the community. Apparently designed to match the "bohemia-meets-Miss-Havisham vibe" of the hotel's guest rooms, the pub and upstairs parlor are filled with antiques, portraits and sketches, old school detailing, and a few bonus accents like a Belgian fireplace, a disco ball from MacPherson’s personal collection, and, of course, a ram's head.
