A review of the tamale at Los Dados in today's The Awl newsletter: "Anyway this tamale, which I had as just 'plain corn,' is sort of the aromatic super-sweet essence of corn? It is like being lost in a corn field in a rain storm tornado (ha, is this a Madonna song?) and you have your mouth open and it keeps filling with corn. Which is to say it's TOO MUCH. You're like, STOP THE CORN. Except it's really good. Except sort of gross! Except delicious." [The Awl]
