Welcome to our photo series, where Eater photographer Daniel Krieger visits some of the city's celebrated restaurants to capture them at a certain, and very specific, point in the day. Today, Hill Country on a Friday night.[Krieger, 5/15/09]
Flatiron: Opened during NYC's Big Barbecue Boom, the massive bi-level Hill Country celebrates its second anniversary this week, just as it prepares for New York's annual ribs and pork extravaganza, the Big Apple Barbecue. A look at the scene and a tour of the restaurant as pitmaster Pete Daversa and crew feeds the hungry crowds.
