1) Tribeca: A tipster reports that a new spot called Cinque Trattoria will open soon in the failed Devin Tavern space at 363 Greenwich St.: "The signage outside looks finished, but the inside is still under construction. From appearances, it looks like they’re making only modest changes, so it is probably no more than a couple of weeks away...you’ll see a red-and-white tablecloth just inside the door, as you would see at a formulaic Little Italy place." [PLYWOOD]

6) Brooklyn Heights: Brownstoner notices that the signage has gone up on New York's very first outpost of Checkers in the old 111 Court. Feel the excitement! [PLYWOOD]

7) Harlem: A tipster sends in the above shot of the rebuild of a space that was once an Indian restaurant on Broadway and 103rd. [PLYWOOD]
