East Village's Permanently Delayed Permanent Brunch

A tipster and EV Grieve notice that one of Colin Alevras' upcoming projects, the decidedly epic Permanent Brunch, on 95 First Ave (near 6th Street), has been hit up with yet another stop work order. The restaurant, touted to "feel like 2pm on a Sunday in New York all the time" and feature a "quintessential brunch playlist," was originally scheduled to open six months ago; brunch here, however, remains impermanent, and we weep.
