Spotted: Greenwich Village Chef/King Opens Wash Sq. Park

Washington Square Park: Greenwich Village's Washington Square Park opened to the public after a long renovation last week, but it's fair to say the opening wasn't official until the red carpet was unfurled for our favorite pony-tailed and clog-wearing chef/king Mario Batali. See him above, saluting the fountain right before he throws in some pennies.
