Two is a (Weird) Trend: Hot Dog Pop Ups

Williamsburg: Last week word came out that Asia Dog a hot dog outfit selling all manner of strangely dressed dogs (kimchi, banh mi style) was operating a pop-up operation out of Williamsburg's Trophy Bar every Tuesday night. Riding on a wave of renewed interest in the lowly hot dog in restaurants from Ditch Plains to Fatty Crab, Elettaria, the yet to open DBGB, and the single-minded Dogmatic, another pop-up has arrived. This one takes place every other Sunday at a bar on the other end of the neighborhood, Sweet Ups. The specialty here: bacon wrapped hot dogs served with $1 pitchers of beer.
