Thursday Opening Report: Torres Ice Cream Cart, Fulton Stall Market to Debut This Weekend

1) Soho West: Food & Wine and Grub Street report that chocolatier, fisherman, and boat dweller Jacque Torres will add ice cream carts to his stores and a separate parlour in Dumbo, serving up homemade flavors (rum caramel, raspberry sorbet) and toppings and custom made ice cream sandwiches, this weekend. Status: Opening on Hudson St. tomorrow at 9 a.m., DUMBO May 30; 350 Hudson St., 212-414-2462.

2) FiDi: The new South Street Seaport branch of Water Taxi Beach makes its debut this Saturday. They'll be serving up Schnack's fish and chips, fish tacos, Motz burgers, beef, soy, and beef with bacon dogs, roasted corn, and chicken wings. Status: Open Sat - Mon, then every day starting on the 30th; Pier 17 at the Seaport.

3) FiDi Meanwhile over at the old Fulton Fish Market, the Fulton Stall Market makes its debut tomorrow with over a dozen local vendors and farms. Status: Open every Fri & Sat starting tomorrow at 10 a.m.; South St. between Fulton and Beekman Sts.
