Disaster Report: Mary Anne's Chelsea Shuttered by Flood

New, 1 comment

Chelsea: A Monday is never complete without a little disaster report. The 8th Avenue branch of the mini Manhattan Mexican chain Mary Anne's is shuttered until at least Thursday or Friday due to a kitchen flood. In the end, it's no big thing—except for the major cost to the restaurant in repairs and lost business and the loss of quesadillas to the magarita-loving public. But it is disconcerting. First Blue Moon closes its doors, now Mary Anne's is hit by a flood...not a great sign for the state of popular Mexican restaurants in Chelsea. We'll be keeping an eye on Sueños.
