Rumormongering: Lahey to Open Second Co.?

Somewhere "Downtown": A trusted tipster tells us that a friend was approached last week for a position at a new branch of Jim Lahey's fanatically adored Chelsea pizza place Co.. She tells us it's "somewhere downtown" but can't provide further intel.

Lahey himself has not returned our request yesterday for confirmation...but there hasn't been a denial coming from his camp either. Any intel on the new project, or any spy shots of plywood with a pizza oven, send 'em this way. We've heard multiple reports that the Five Roses space will reopen as a pizzeria, but that's most likely too small for a Co.-style operation.
