Rickshaw Dumpling Bar Expands into Buns

Apparently, no one wants to be left out of this sandwich craze: Bahn mi shops are opening at a rapid pace citywide, chef Angelo Sosa is opening a new Asian sandwich chain, Boqueria just added sandwiches for take out. And now, Rickshaw Dumpling Bar, which up until now only sold dumplings, soups, and salads, is adding two buns to the menu today. First up, a Momo'-like braised pork belly bun with Chinese barbeque sauce and Asian cabbage slaw. And no. 2: a bulgogi beef bun topped with Gochu Jang chili paste and pickled carrot, beansprout, and scallion. Buns are two for $6 and are not yet available on the trucks.
