Sneak Peeks: Dan Silverman's Standard Hotel Restaurant

Meatpacking District: Hotel Chatter serendipitously happens by the new Standard Hotel over by the High Line just as workers remove the brown paper masking the windows of the upcoming Dan Silverman ground floor restaurant. And holy mother, they manage to get some clear-as-day shots of the supposed classic American restaurant/chophouse (that we agree, looks more like a bistro). The red banquettes are in place, the unusual hanging plant, hooked up, the tables, completely set. This place looks, dare we say, ready to go. Stay tuned for more updates on the opening.
