Vendors Try to Force Town into Involuntary Bankruptcy

F Rozzo & Sons, Inc, Dairyland USA Corp, and West Conn Meats—three vendors who have brought separate lawsuits against the Town for non-payment—have filed a petition to force the restaurant into involuntary bankruptcy. The troubled Town owes these vendors and two others not named in the petition, DeBragga & Spitler and Samuel & Sons Seafood Co., over $79,000 for products and services. Apparently, the vendors (and their lawyer) figure they have a better chance of getting at least a portion of the debt if the company is forced to liquidate.

Regardless of the success of this petition, neither Town nor its botched sister restaurant Country could have much longer to live.
