On the Market: Clinton Restaurant For Sale

Lower East Side: Clinton Restaurant, the cheap Dominican/Cuban/Italian/Tex-Mex restaurant on the corner of Clinton and East Houston and an important standby in the neighborhood, is up for sale. Not to romanticize this too much, but it was a small comfort that Clinton held up that corner as the recent tepid additions like San Marzano and Fat Hippo infiltrated upper Clinton. For now the restaurant is still open, but buyers are welcome to make bids. Expect a new trendy pizza place any day now.
