MIDTOWN— Midtown Lunch finds an unusual menu item at a restaurant with no other dishes inspired by or named after celebrities. It's called the Natalie Portman, and it's lobster salad and seaweed salad with strawberry outside, served with wasabi and Japanese mayo. [ML]

RED HOOK— Now that Tini Wine Bar in Red Hook has moved five blocks over it has a new name, home/made: "Chef Monica Byrne is working on some new menu ideas to tantalize your taste buds and Leisah Swenson (along with the amazing help of Metal and Thread's Derek Dominy) is constructing the new back yard pergola. WILLIAMSBURG— Felipe Mendez, co owner of Williamsburg's La Superior was named one of the most beautiful people of 2009 by Paper magazine. [Paper]

UNION SQUARE— Sal Anthony's Raw (located right near raw food spot Pure Food & Wine) is now Adelina: "he has now installed fourteen tables in a proper dining room, and placed a counter up front. (For now, the restaurant is BYOB.) Though cooked vegetarian dishes have been added to the mix, a good deal of the menu is still Italian raw. Here he’s serving raw pizza..." [GS]
