1) Williamsburg Our roving photographer Will Femia sends in a new shot of Green Canteen, the new space from Burger King exec behind Dogmatic Sausage System, opening soon on North 6th and Bedford. From an earlier plywood report: "The 3000-square foot, 74-seat restaurant will...focus on seasonal ingredients for its 60-some-odd menu items, including ready-to-serve antipasti, salads, flatbreads and hummus bowls...checks are expected to be less than $20." [PLYWOOD]

2) Cobble Hill: Gothamist brings word that the corner of Court and Kane Streets can soon expect a new restaurant in the old Caffé Carciofo space. Watty and Meg, named after an old Scottish-American ballad, will have 60 seats and open kitchen. [PLYWOOD]

3) Midtown: Long ago we learned German Lucarelli, the chef formerly at Bice, planned to open a new Italian restaurant in the New York Times' building. Nation's Restaurant News follows up today with an opening date for Montenapo: April 29. The menu is online. [PLYWOOD]

4) West Village: A tipster gets an early plyoow shot of the new Chocolate Bar opening at 19 Eighth Avenue on April 28. [PLYWOOD]

5) Prospect Heights: Brownstoner reports that Washington Avenue will soon get another bar. The Flying Monkey is set to open this July with 1,500 glorious square feet of space. [PLYWOOD]

6) East Village: A tipster sends in shot of the progress made on Bodhi Thai on 3rd Avenue, right next to Apiary. A walk by today reveals a fully set up dining room and menus pasted to the door. Expect the open imminently. [PLYWOOD]
