It's news to no one that upscale restaurants have fallen all over themselves to add bar menus in an attempt to lure cash-strapped diners. Today, the WSJ reminds us it's a national trend. The $1.3 million high-end LA restaurant The Foundry is now..."a lounge with nightly live bands, cocktail waitresses and promotions such as 'fried-chicken-and-waffles night.'
