A few weekend disaster reports coming in from the tipline. First, from a Williamsburg resident:
"Peter Luger was evacuated on Friday around 7 p.m. Multiple fire trucks converged on the scene. After about an hour of surveying the restaurant, the firefighters let everyone back inside and Con Ed arrived to take their place. Guessing it was an electrical problem."
Meanwhile, back in Manhattan, Wallse and the FROG space had their own tastes of disaster. According to the tipster who sent in the above pictures, two kids crashed their Landrover into the corner window of Kurt Gutenbrunner West Villager around 8:45 Saturday morning, luckily causing more damage to the car more than the building. We're going to go ahead and guess the smashed up window at the abandoned FROG space in Soho stems from an act of vandalism or late night drunken antics.
